I hate to hear you struggling, so I’ll help you guys out, it’s pronounced as ’strope-wah-fels’

I am up here at Syracuse university, and the pizza up here is…ok compared to down on long island (where I love). I know Larry will say that Varsity is good, and it is…but, it still isnt as good.
Now when you guys say you are going to order pizza, you say “get a slice” or “get a pie”, right? The people on my team up here, just dont understand.
I think there is a site where you can buy dutch products here in the states. I have to ask my dutch buddy, and will email it to you guys. I am not sure what they offer in it though.

I think you can order stroopwafels online here:

Anyone have problem listening to this episode?
It was playing ok… but if I tried to skip forward or backward, the recording jumped right back to the beginning.
It is probably the iPod that’s screwing up; haven’t tried it in iTunes yet

@Jeff:
same thing here
April 4th, 2006 at 5:14 pm
Jeff, yep same here! Seems to happen on iPod but fine on iTunes.
Hey Squadcast dudes! How about we challenge YOU???? Hmmmmm…..
April 4th, 2006 at 5:17 pm
Thanks for the heads up guys, we’ve got some people smarter than us working on it now.
If you have a challenge that doesn’t involve us fixing the audio, we’re all ears
April 4th, 2006 at 9:37 pm
How about the same challenge that you gave to Dawn and Drew? Why don’t you guys try to go for one full episode without swearing?

Out of the people with the problems who has upgraded their iPod firmware recently?
April 5th, 2006 at 9:46 pm
Tristin…You are I imagine a very nice person. However, to ask Squadcast to refrain from swearing would be unspeakable censorship. For them not to be themselves and naturally use the expletives that flow naturally with the moment would be less real resulting in less funny. Clearly this is not for children, at least not mine. I am grateful for the freedom given the artist in this format. Traditional over the airwaves radio is lacking in many ways due to the pressure put on the artist to confirm to an arbitrary standard imposed by the FCC. There are clean pod casts available yet you find something intriguing or let’s say amusing about this one or you would not be here to make the comment. Lastly I respect your opinion and simply felt the need to express my thoughts on this. And yes… I referred to the Squdcast crew as artists.
Keep it real,
Steve in West Palm Beach.

Al: I have not updated my firmware, but should I?
Steve: I respect your opinion as well Steve, but I’m not asking them to be completely clean for one episode, I’m simply challenging them to see if they can go an entire episode without swearing. An episode can still contain mature content with no swears in it. Plus, we don’t know if they will even carry out the challenge. And who knows, it might end up being a funny episode after all! However, I do share your opinion about the airwaves, they do lack in many ways.
Cheers!

A challenge for Squadcast Dudes: How about Bryan and Anthony (Scott can man the Handycam) walk around NYC speaking a made-up language (gibberish) to unsuspecting people? And in the middle of their gibberish they can throw in an occasional “Squadcast.com” They will confuse people and we all can get a good laugh. And what a way to get some shameless promotion!
April 7th, 2006 at 7:18 am
And to Al: Yes, my firmware is up-to-date on my iPod.

The iPod upgrade still has the problems, I wanted to check if it was the upgrade that caused the problem, if Tristan has got the problem of the podcast going to the start when trying to fast forward it then it’s not the iPods so I guess it’s time to check if it’s dodgy podshow production tools.
