One more thing I just have to say is, i hate christmas shows on TV and I hate christmas carols on the radio. But I did watch that raging rudolph, thats pretty good.

And now I’m googling piss bag during math class, thanks guys.

Christmas specials are funny as adults for all the messages that the children don’t get. For instance in Rudolph, just how much of an *sshole is Santa? He not only dismisses Rudolph’s ability once he sees the red nose, but he even scolds the father for trying to pass his kid off as normal. And then we he needs to use him for his ability, everything’s all peachy and everybody loves him again.

In Frosty, the little girl watches Frosty melt. We only ever see her crying over a puddle, but can you imagine how f’d up that kid is gonna be? Just what did Frosty look like while he was dying? Was it like a regular snowman in your front yard melting? Did his eyes start falling out? How long could he keep talking to her? It was probably quite the horror show. That girl’s destined for some therapy.

Year Without… is the most screwed up of them all, it makes no sense. Somebody explain the plot? Is Santa coming, or not? Is his excuse that he’s sick, or that no one believes in him? When Santa meets Iggy and his father, both of whom believe, why doesn’t he right then say “Ok, I’m convinced, I’ll show up”? Does anyone else notice that Mrs C totally throws the elves under the bus when she tells Santa that it was Jingle and Jangle’s idea to go find some Christmas spirit? If you notice, they’re terrified, they don’t want to go - she makes them. And when all the kids get together to give Santa the day off, what’s up with the little girl who’s all sad? Is she screwing it up for everybody else? Why does santa blow off all the other children so that he can answer her letter? Do the kids want him to come, or not? I’m so confused.

They all confuse my kids, because Santa always refers to Mrs Claus as “Maw” or “Mama”. So my kids swear to me that that’s Santa’s mommy.

Being from the netherlands I don’t really know all those christmas shows you talked about. (Even though my mom’s british)
But I came across the following website and thought of you guys.
You can watch a 101 of those shows you talked about: http://www.fanpop.com/spots/christmas/soapbox/64
As I said I’m not really in to them, but thought other ppl might enjoy it. Anyway keep up the good work as always, and happy holidays

The show started with Anthony playing Xbox. So when he was only and echo in the background, I thought he still was over across the room playing xbox for half the show. I thought to myself “damn, that brings new meaning to the term ‘half-assed’ ”

    Good show though :)
