Hooray, the show’s back! And quite surprisingly, putting Chris and Anthony alone together in a room actually did not result in Chris beating Anthony to death with an ipod box or strangling him with a microphone cord. It was actually a very good episode (even though long time listeners have already heard the story about the water main, Anthony). They talked about evolving the show into something different than just a 40 minute window into these guys lives, and I happen to agree. What’s wrong with a canned bit every now and then, if it’s produced in the same style we already love from you guys? Or picking something out of the week’s news to start talking about? Guaranteed that the show will always be 99% storytelling and insulting each other, no matter how hard you try. And that’s ok, because that’s the best part.

Chris, that song you played at the end might be by your friend, but man it was horrible. Sorry. Listened to the whole thing, hoping for a payoff, and none came.

  2. George Says:

Chris, dude, look. You whine about and criticize everything. In short, you hate on everything. Now you’re surprised someone didn’t like you back? Irony abounds.

    The song sucked.

I’ll be honest. I kept nodding off. Anthony was his usual self but without the excitement catalyst in Scott, Chris’s usual whining bored me to tears. Whine, whine, whine, bitch, bitch, bitch. I can’t think of a single positive thing he’s said (save for a few sarcastic comments which clearly don’t count).

I pray for the return of Scott, Brian, and Larry.

  3. George Says:

Oh, but I will say Chris, I agree 100% about the intro music. It’s obnoxious, uninspired (unless you consider too much bass inspiring), and makes no sense.

  4. jason c (starmorphine) Says:

Anytime any of the show’s core group are missing, that is a change for the worse. I appreciate the effort of doing the show being done at all.

I enjoyed the Anthony and Chris only show. I hope Scott, Bryan and Larry can join more shows. A show every two weeks would be good, even with a partial group.

I like hip-hop, but that intro is weak. I would rather hear fucking Muskrat Love by America over and over than that intro again.

  5. Joppe Says:

George, go fuck yourself. You do realize that you come here on the squadcast page and whine about the whining in the show?

Anyway, glad that the show is back. I’ve missed you guys.

  6. Devon Says:

I have to agree, its good to see another episode of squadcast even if it is only anthony and chris. I just have to say, I did go and look for other podcasts to listen to, and none of them were as entertaining as squadcast is. You guys should really keep doing this.

I just want to be the person to also say that I like Chris. I think Chris brings some sort of intelligence that contrasts the rest of the cast perfectly.(no offense to anyone) But I for one am glad you are part of the squadcast team Chris. Thanks for putting on an amazing podcast guys.

  7. jason c (starmorphine) Says:

No offense? How can saying the rest are contrasts to intellect not be offensive? That is funny :)

    Go Squadcast!

  8. Luke Says:

    Hey guys,
I have to say I agree on the whole ‘the more the merrier’ thing, so let’s hope the next show will have at least 4 members of the cast on it.
That being said, I remember a while back Scott was trying to record conversations with telemarketers. I found this pretty great one at http://howtoprankatelemarketer.ytmnsfw.com
    :)

  9. George Says:

Joppe, why would I? Your mom just called. She never whines.
