Integration Details
Integration Steps

To Integrate Squadcast and Cloudflare:

  1. Navigate to Services -> Service Overview, select or search for your Service and expand the accordion
  2. In the Alert Sources section, click Add. Select Cloudflare. Copy the displayed Webhook URL to configure it within Cloudflare.
  3. Finish by clicking Add Alert Source -> Done.
  4. Log in to your Cloudflare dashboard, access Notifications, and choose Destinations.
  5. Create a new destination by providing a Name, pasting the previously copied Squadcast Webhook URL into the URL field, and saving it.
  6. Next, add the webhook to All Notifications, choose a product, and provide a Notification Name.
  7. Add the webhook, select the created one from the dropdown, and proceed.
  8. Finally, select Health checks, choose healthy or unhealthy, and create the notification.

We have full control over on-call issues as every user has access to Squadcast. Read-only access is free for stakeholder users. Pretty flexible in how each individual can choose how to be notified. I’ve setup almost all my professional and personal contact info in the notification chain. Incident exclusion and alert forwarding is really helpful when you don’t want to be disturbed. Have used this a ton when I go on vacation. Easy to use mobile app. Always works, clean UI that makes it easy on the eyes in the middle of the night.
