Integration Steps

To integrate Salesforce with Squadcast

Navigate to Services -> Service Overview. Select/Search Service and expand accordion.
In Alert Sources, click Add. Choose Salesforce Cloud. Copy Webhook URL. Click Add Alert Source -> Done.
Create a Squadcast Webhook in Salesforce Cloud
Download squadcastClass.apxc file
In Salesforce Service Cloud, save the apex file in Developer Console
Download squadcastTrigger.apxt file
In Developer Console, insert downloaded file and webhook URL
In Salesforce Cloud Setup: Add a new remote site and update the details.

We have full control over on-call issues as every user has access to Squadcast. Read-only access is free for stakeholder users. Pretty flexible in how each individual can choose how to be notified. I’ve setup almost all my professional and personal contact info in the notification chain. Incident exclusion and alert forwarding is really helpful when you don’t want to be disturbed. Have used this a ton when I go on vacation. Easy to use mobile app. Always works, clean UI that makes it easy on the eyes in the middle of the night.
